A Book for Change is a campaign that seeks to bring lasting change to problems in the educational sector by advocating for structural and systemic change and also providing infrastructural support and links for rural schools. Through this we raise books for children and schools in rural communities.
The 2015 event raised over a thousand books for the Adoka Community Library and Educational resource Centre. The event brought together people from diverse background together to raise their voice for the plight of these young people. Various people graced the event, Prof. Mrs Amuta was the key note speaker, others include writers such as Jou Akut the author of kiss & tell, Su’eddie Vershima Agema, musicians, poets and many more people.
